effleurage strokes. The therapist uses body weight to apply

Myofascial Release Therapy
Fascia is the connective tissue which surrounds muscles, organs
and bones throughout the body. Slow, deep, and intentional
strokes are used to mobilize this tissue, improving structural

Reflexology
Concentrating on reflex points in your feet that correlate to
organs and systems of the body, the therapist applies thumb and
finger pressure along with massage techniques to induce
relaxation, rejuvenation and well-being. Includes warm herbal
footbath.

Orthopedic Assessment
This session is specifically designed
to assess and treat occupational, sports and other pain and
injury conditions. Using a wide variety of treatment approaches
for soft-tissue dysfunction it addresses pain and injury to
those tissues primarily involved in locomotion: muscles,
tendons, ligaments, bursa, nerves, fascia, etc. A trained
therapist in orthopedic massage will understand what tissues are
involved and be able to assess their status depending on the
physiological nature of the pain or injury and will determine
what treatment will be most effective for them.

Clinical Sports Massage
Focuses on the muscles
primarily used in the activity performed. Firm and vigorous
techniques designed to ready an athlete by reducing anxiety and
enhancing performance by decreasing chance of injury and
relieving soreness.
Trigger Point Therapy
Gradual sustained pressure
applied to specific "hot spots" in the muscles which are painful
to the touch and cause local or radiating pain. This technique
is highly effective in releasing muscle knots and tension.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Specific soft-tissue massage work
that helps to relieve chronic pain and structural dysfunction by
balancing the nervous system with the musculo-skeletal system to
break the pain-spasm cycle. A combination of deep tissue
friction, joint mobilization trigger point techniques and
myofascial therapy us used to relieve pain and increase range of
motion.
